The Mercedes EQS 450 SUV has been officially revealed, with a launch date set for January 9, 2025. This highly anticipated electric vehicle will join the existing EQS lineup, offering a five-seater configuration that prioritizes comfort and space for passengers. The EQS 450 will be powered by the same impressive 122 kWh battery pack found in its larger sibling, the EQS 580. This battery setup allows for a remarkable range of up to 857 kilometres on a single charge, making it one of the most efficient electric SUVs on the market. With dual electric motors delivering a combined output of 544 horsepower and 858 Nm of torque, the EQS 450 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.
Charging is also convenient, with the ability to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes using a fast 200kW DC charger. This makes it an attractive option for both city driving and longer journeys.
