Nissan is planning to update its popular small SUV, the Magnite, on October 4, 2024. This will be the first major change to the car since it was introduced in 2020. Nissan has been showing sneak peeks of the new design.
The latest preview shows parts of the front and back of the car. The front grille might be bigger and more detailed than before. The rear lights will keep their overall shape but have new internal designs.
Earlier, Nissan showed a picture of the new wheel design. It has six spokes and two colors.
Based on spy photos and rumors, we can expect several changes to the Magnite’s looks:
- New front design
- Updated front and back bumpers
- New daytime running lights
- Small changes to the hood and rear window shape
Inside the car, there might be:
- Better quality materials
- More features
- Possibly a larger screen for the entertainment system
- Maybe a digital display for the driver
- New color choices for the interior
The car is likely to have more safety features, including six airbags, stability control, and a camera system to help with parking.
The engines are expected to stay the same: a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine and a non-turbo version. The gearbox options will probably remain similar to the current model.
The new Magnite will compete with similar small SUVs from other brands like Renault, Hyundai, and Tata. It might cost a bit more than the current version because of the updates.
