Tata Motors has recently expanded its offerings with the introduction of a panoramic sunroof in the popular Tata Nexon, now available across multiple trims. This exciting feature is set to enhance the driving experience, allowing passengers to enjoy a more open and airy feel inside the vehicle.

The Tata Nexon with a panoramic sunroof is priced starting at Rs. 13.60 lakh for the petrol manual variant, reaching up to Rs. 15.60 lakh for the diesel automatic variant. The Nexon CNG model, which also includes this feature, starts at Rs. 12.80 lakh and goes up to Rs. 14.60 lakh depending on the trim selected.

Trim Details:

The panoramic sunroof is featured in the top-spec Fearless + PS trim for both petrol and diesel versions, which also boasts an upgraded 8-speaker JBL sound system. This addition comes at a premium of approximately Rs. 1.3 lakh over the next trim down, which does not include the sunroof or enhanced audio system.

Interestingly, Tata’s move to include a panoramic sunroof in its Nexon models places it in direct competition with Mahindra’s XUV 3XO, making both vehicles among the few compact SUVs in India to offer this feature. The Nexon now offers two sunroof options: a standard sunroof in lower variants and a larger panoramic version in higher trims.

Tata Nexon: powertrain option & Performance:

  • Tata Nexon ICE two powertrain options: 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit. The produce power 118 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. The produce power 114 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque.
  • There are four transmission options: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
  • CNG Option: 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol, Producing 100 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque, with the 6-speed manual Transmission option.
